"In order to guarantee the greatest safety of motorized two-wheelers and three-wheelers, Interfile Traffic (CIF) has been interrupted on roads with JOP reserved lanes. Indeed, with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, traffic is likely to be very dense and there will be a lot of traffic jams by high-capacity vehicles on the 185 km of lanes reserved for vehicles accredited to transport athletes, official delegations, emergency and security vehicles, taxis, ambulances and public transport (operating as part of a public service mission) and accredited journalists."

On August 28, the day of the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games, here is the list of closed stations: 

D-day

  • Metro metro_9
    • The metro will not stop at the station FranklinRoosevelt from 14 p.m. to the end of service. Access to the metro metro_1 will remain open.
    • Closure of access to the metro on the Champs-Elysées roundabout.
  • Orsay Museum Station ( RER_C ): open, plan to close access to the RER on the Anatole France quay.
  • Palais Royal Station - Louvre Museum ( metro_1 ): open, plan to close access to the metro located within the SILT perimeter.

  • Shuttle buses depart from Montparnasse, Lyon, Austerlitz, Bercy, Nord, Est, Saint-Lazare and Rosa Parks stations.

  • 1 accessible taxis deployed during the Games to allow spectators with reduced mobility to reach the competition venues.

The opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games will take place on Place de la Concorde and on Avenue des Champs Elysées on Wednesday August 28, 2024 at 20 p.m. A red perimeter (motorized access prohibited unless exempted) will be gradually put in place:

This pass will always be valid during the Paralympic Games (excluding the opening ceremony and the para-cycling event from September 3 to 7 in Seine-Saint-Denis).
