Know all the impacts according to your department
A Games Pass will be required to access the red perimeter by motor vehicle (Clichy-sous-Bois, Coubron and Courtry). Make your request on the Paris Police Prefecture platform. For pedestrians, cyclists and scooters, movement remains free within the red perimeter and crossing the route is possible at the crossing points
The security perimeter
For all para-cycling events, a red motorized traffic restriction perimeter will be activated. It extends over the affected municipalities of Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne. It is activated:
- the 3 September from 6 a.m. to 16:00 p.m.;
- the 4 September from 5 a.m. to 18:30 p.m.;
- the 5 September from 6:30 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.;
- the 6 September from 6:30 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.;
- the 7 September, for the road race and the mixed relay from 6:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.
On the roads, the impacts to be expected will be stronger at the time of activation of the safety perimeters and more during the duration of the events. On the day of the road event, the red perimeter set up will have special traffic rules:
- A barrier is put in place 5 hours before the event.
- The motorized traffic ban area is activated 3 hours before the start of the event and up to 2 hours after the end of the competition.
- As soon as the perimeter is activated, the ban on the circulation of all motorized vehicles is effective, except for local residents and beneficiaries upon presentation of the Games Pass, 30 minutes before the start of the event and up to 15 minutes after the last athlete has passed.
- Please note that this area will probably be very busy on D-Day, particularly at the entrance to the area where checks are carried out.
- Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to circulate within the red perimeter without restrictions. Pedestrian crossing points allowing crossing the race route are defined. The police may allow crossing of the race route depending on the progress of the event, so as not to hinder the athletes.
Please note for Clichy-sous-Bois, in order to allow the smooth running of the events (arrival/departure arch, temporary installations):
- Allée Romain Rolland will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians from August 11 to September 8
- Boulevard Emile Zola will be closed to vehicles from August 26 to September 10
- The African Riflemen's Alley will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians from August 31 to September 8
How to cross the course?
The route forms a loop that can be crossed using shear points. The crossing methods vary depending on your means of transport (on foot, by bike or by motorized vehicle).
Crossing the route is possible only for holders of a Games Pass (authorized residents and beneficiaries) 30 minutes before the start of the race, and 15 minutes later the passage of the last runner.
The vehicle shear points will then be closed for the duration of the events (i.e. a large part of the day), so it is recommended to only enter them if your travels are planned within the loop formed by the course.
Depending on your area, there are shear points every 200 to 300 meters in the city that you should know about. They are accessible all day long, in a controlled manner, between the passage of the runners.

Parking Rules
Parking is prohibited on the roads along the route from September 1 to 8 (except for Chemin de la Tourelle in Clichy-sous-Bois, prohibited from Friday September 6 to Sunday September 8 only).
It is strongly recommended to park outside the loop formed by the course of the events, knowing that the motor vehicle crossing points will not be open for the entire duration of the events (i.e. a large part of the day).
Public transport: practical information (bus, RER, etc.)
Overview

Our advice for getting around with peace of mind
- Prioritize teleworking and telemedicine as soon as you can.
- By motorized vehicle, check that your route avoids the red perimeter using the interactive map. Park outside the safety perimeters, and particularly the loop formed by the course of the events.
- By public transport, check the T4 traffic on the interactive map, and modify your route or shift your timetable to avoid stations with the busiest times. The Île-de-France Mobilities application offers you alternative routes to avoid the impacted lines. Also check for possible changes to your bus line on the Île-de-France Mobilités website.
- Also consider making your journey by bike or on foot, for example by using the city's bike rental service. Walking ou by bike, your travel is made easier: you can access the red perimeter of the road test without needing proof.
