Paris stations and stations closed for the JOP (from May 17 to September 21)

During the assembly phase (since May 17), until the dismantling phase (September 21) and for the smooth running of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games (July 26), certain metro and RER stations in Paris will be closed then gradually reopened. Stations and stations in Paris: what are the closing and reopening dates?
To secure the assembly and dismantling phases, then for the smooth running of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games (July 26), certain metro stations and RER C stations will be temporarily closed this summer.
5 periods can be distinguished:
- From May 17 to July 17, assembly phase of temporary competition sites;
- From July 18 to 25 inclusive, preparation of the opening ceremony on the banks of the Seine and the bridges;
- July 26, opening ceremony of the Olympic Games with closures and reopenings for public transport in 5 stages;
- From July 27 to September 8, periods of the Olympic and Paralympic Games;
- From September 2, gradual reopening of metro stations.
Closures of stations and stations before July 26
Before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, public transport is secured by the closure of certain metro stations and RER C stations present in the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 12th and 16th arrondissements of Paris .
From June 17, Concorde (lines 1, 8 and 12) and Tuileries (line 1) stations will be closed

Following the opening ceremony, certain stations are kept closed to secure the sporting events throughout the 2024 Olympic Games. A gradual reopening is therefore put in place to facilitate users' daily travel.
Metro
- The station Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau (lines 1 and 13) will be closed from July 20 to August 11 inclusive, then from August 22 to September 8 inclusive. The station will therefore be open from August 12 to 21 inclusive.
- Maintained closure of Concorde (line 1, 8 and 12) and Tuileries (line 1) stations until September 1st inclusive.

- “Porte d’Issy” and “Porte de Versailles” opening from August 12 to 28
- “Porte de Versailles” opening from August 12 to 28

New developments reduce impacts on daily travel
To ensure that the competition sites for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games remain 100% accessible by public transport, while minimizing the impact of travel by residents of the Ile-de-France region, the transport plan has been revised.

- The station Sully-Morland (line 7) remains open until July 25 in the evening
- The station Jena (line 9) remains open until July 25 inclusive (with the exception of Thursday July 24).
- The train station Saint-Michel / Notre-Dame (RER C) remains open until July 26 at 18 p.m., to reopen from 23:15 p.m.
Three stations reopen earlier
- The station Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau (lines 1 and 13) will be open from August 12 to 21 inclusive, then from September 9
- the stop Concord (lines 1 and 8), and the connection between these two lines reopens on September 2
- The station Tuileries (1 online) reopens from September 2
The closure of Champs-Elysées - Clémenceau initially envisaged was for 12 consecutive weeks. A re-examination of the assembly conditions of the Grand Palais site made it possible to reduce the closure to 6 weeks in total.
