Closing ceremony: security perimeters in Saint-Denis
The closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games takes place at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
Security perimeters similar to those securing competition venues will be activated with traffic restrictions expected throughout the area around the stadium, for roads, as well as increased traffic on public transport.
Where are the security perimeters located?
They are activated at the Pleyel crossroads (athletes' village), the Stade de France and the Aquatic Center from 14h.
The Paralympic marathon will also take place on September 8
Until around 15pm, due to the Paralympic marathon event, a wider red security perimeter will be set up in the Saint-Denis, Aubervilliers, Bobigny and Drancy area from 6am. The restrictions will be gradually lifted following the passage of the last athlete.
