  1. Learn about the regulations for red and blue security perimeters
  • I consult the interactive map to find out if my business is located within a security perimeter:

See the map

  • I am aware of the specificities of travel in the red and blue perimeters: click here.
  • I consult the table of people authorized to use motorized vehicles (excluding the opening ceremony): click here.

 2. Discuss with my supplier the possibility of modifying delivery times based on competition times

  • I will find out today about the competition times around my business(es) using the competition calendar.
  • If the restrictions are too great, I consider having it delivered the next day or the day before a competition if the nature of the goods allows it.
  • If the restrictions are too great, I consider having it delivered late in the evening or early in the morning.
  • I ensure the method of receiving the goods in the event of deliveries outside of schedule (presence of a receiver or possibility of independent delivery).

3. Ensure that the regulations around my point of sale allow for staggered delivery times early in the morning or late in the evening

  • I read the rules of my co-ownership
  • I warn my neighbors (residents, co-ownership, other businesses, etc.) of deliveries early in the morning or late in the evening

To find out about silent deliveries: click here.

4. Reorganize my teams' schedules if necessary based on delivery schedules

  • I ensure that my teams can receive deliveries

I am a delivery man

1. Discuss with my customers the possibility of changing delivery times

  • I list my delivery points located in a red zone or a blue zone. Help yourself to the interactive map !
  • If the restrictions are too great, I ask my customer if they would like to have them delivered the next day or the day before a competition.
  • If the restrictions are too great, I ask my customer if they would like delivery late in the evening or early in the morning.
  • I ensure the method of receiving the goods in the event of deliveries outside of schedule (presence of a receiver or possibility of independent delivery).

2. Ensure that the regulations around delivery points allow delivery at the new chosen times

  • I would like to find out if my activity is subject to an exemption to access the red zones by motorized vehicle (excluding the opening ceremony): click here
  • To access the red zones, delivery drivers must have previously declared themselves on the digital platform of the Police Prefecture: request to be made on the site pass-jeux.gouv.fr
  • I go to the red zone screening point with the pass that will have been issued by the platform.
  • For blue zones, I bring proof of delivery.

3. Adapt the working hours of my teams according to the days and times of the tests

  • Access to red zones will be possible during times specified by the Police Prefecture and are subject to access exceptions (see above).
  • Checks by law enforcement risk generating waiting times to be taken into account during rounds

4. Adapt my teams’ delivery routes based on security perimeters and their activation

  • I use the portal https://www.joptimiz.green/ dedicated to delivery companies and own accounts.
  • I can dedicate a fleet of vehicles and delivery people to the red and blue zones.

Slots set up to deliver around competition sites

Special slots have been set up for delivery vehicles and heavy maintenance operations around the competition sites. These slots do not concern emergency interventions, nor access for residents and workers in the area.

Delivery slots

Take note of the slots set up around each competition site according to their zone.

Example to better understand the slots provided

Monday July 29, if you need to deliver within the Champs-de-Mars – Eiffel Tower sector, here are the possible delivery slots:

  • Deliveries prohibited (red boxes): between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., between 12:30 p.m. and 16 p.m., then between 17:30 p.m. and 20:30 p.m.
  • Shipping with Games Pass (white boxes between the interval of the 1st and the last red box): between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., then between 16 p.m. and 17:30 p.m.
  • Shipping without Games Pass (white boxes outside the previous interval): between 20:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

To find out more, download the documents associated with each competition site to find out the possible slots, day by day, hour by hour.

Games Pass: terms and conditions for delivery vehicles

Depending on the address and delivery schedule, you will be asked to present a Games Pass. Here are the terms to remember.

You can deliver without a Games Pass
  • Over the entire period, if you use a cargo bike
  • Before July 26 at 13 p.m.
  • During the Games period (from July 26 to August 11, then from August 28 to September 8): every day, before the first activation and after the last deactivation of a security perimeter
  • During night hours (between 20 p.m. and 7 a.m.)
  • Between the two Games (August 12 to 27)
You must present a Games Pass
  • For all sectors : on the designated slots corresponding to the white boxes between the first and last red boxes of the day
  • According to the terms specific to Paris :
    • During each test, in a time slot between the start time of the session and the half hour preceding the end of the test. For example, for an event lasting from 12 p.m. to 16:30 p.m., you can deliver from 13 p.m. to 16 p.m.
  • According to the specific terms in Seine-Saint-Denis :
    • Olympic Aquatic Center and Stade de France Sector
      • From July 25 to August 10: 20 p.m. to 21 p.m. (except July 27 and 30 between 20:30 p.m. and 21 p.m.)
      • From August 5 to 9: from 20 p.m. to 21 p.m., then from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
      • July 24 and August 11: no special slots
      • From August 28 to September 7: 10:30 a.m. to 13 p.m., 15 p.m. to 16 p.m. and 19:30 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.
      • September 8: no special slots
    • The Olympic and Paralympic Village
      • From July 27 to September 8: from 20 p.m. to 5 a.m.

In Paris in the Champs-Elysées / Concorde sector, given the density of sporting events and the resulting flow of spectators, it is strongly recommended to use night time slots as much as possible outside of activation of the perimeters.

You cannot deliver within a red perimeter
  • July 26 from 13 p.m.
  • During road events, from the activation of the perimeter (3 hours before the start of the event and up to 15 minutes after the last athlete passes)
