The opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
Friday July 26, 2024 from 19:30 p.m. to 23 p.m., the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held. This event will take place on the Seine between the Pont d'Austerlitz and the Pont d'Iéna.
Important: lifting of security measures for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games
The protective perimeter for the Olympic opening ceremony was lifted during the night of July 26 to 27. The Ceremony Games Pass is no longer necessary to access the banks of the Seine. Only motorized traffic within the red perimeters of competition sites is subject to possession of a Games Pass.
The dismantling of the installations linked to the opening ceremony of the Games allows a gradual reopening of traffic on the quays, Place du Trocadéro and on certain bridges.
