Olympic and Paralympic routes on the roads

185 km of lanes on the roads around Paris will be reserved for the circulation of accredited vehicles to transport athletes, accredited journalists, or even official delegations as well as emergency and security vehicles, taxis, ambulances or even public transport.

To remember

  1. Olympic lanes are activated from July 15. Please note: not all of these routes will be deactivated between the two Olympics, see the calendar.
  2. Only Paris 2024 accredited vehicles are authorized to borrow them. Remember to check with Paris 2024 if your vehicle is accredited.
  3. Cyclists and scooters are not authorized to take the Olympic path
  4. The other routes remain passable for all
  5. The Games Pass does not allow you to take these reserved lanes

 

The roads affected by the Olympic routes

These Olympic routes provide direct service to the competition sites in order to facilitate the journeys of accredited people.

Please note, the card does not take into account the deactivation periods between the two Olympics.

Note for the ring road : the Porte Maillot exits indoors and Bois de Boulogne exits outdoors are exclusively dedicated to reserved lanes and are therefore prohibited for unauthorized users.

These lanes only include one lane on the main road. The other routes are accessible to non-accredited users.

Please note that the speed on the axes affected by a reserved lane (RN13, A1, A4, A12 and A13) will be lowered for the duration of their activation: sections at 110km/h will be reduced to 90km/h.

 

Signage dedicated to the Olympic routes

Road signage (signs and ground markings) relating to lanes and portions of lanes reserved for certain vehicles for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games are in place for the period from July 1, 2024 to September 15, 2024 inclusive. These signage elements include either the Games logo or explicitly the words “Paris 2024” to be understood by everyone.
