Activation of perimeters in Guyancourt

During the eight days of competition, from August 1 to 4 and from August 7 to 10 :
- Red perimeters (prohibition of motorized traffic) and blue (regulated motorized traffic) will be set up on competition days on the hill, 2h30 before the first event of the day and until 2h after the end of the last.
Outside of test periods, all motorized travel will be authorized.
See the perimeters on the interactive map
Within the SILT scope
Access to the competition site and its immediate surroundings is reserved only for spectators with tickets and people accredited by Paris 2024.
In the red perimeter
A red perimeter is activated at the time of each event around the competition site and around the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines station.
In this area (notably avenue de l'Europe and avenue du Golf):
- Motorized traffic is prohibited. Only the vehicles of local residents and authorized persons, designated in the table of the Police Prefecture, will be able to circulate within this perimeter after a check by the police. These people will have to request a pass on the platform Pass-Games.
- Pedestrians, cyclists and people on scooters will be able to move freely within the perimeter, and travel along the D912 and in the ZAC des Côtes.
In the blue perimeter
A blue perimeter is activated at the time of each event around the competition site.
Motorized traffic will be restricted in the Bretonnière district and on a portion of Avenue Léon Blum.
In these perimeters:
- Motorized traffic is authorized to any driver able to justify their need for access: delivery, repairs, moving, access to home, work, or a particular business. Checks will be carried out at crossing points by law enforcement, with verification of their legitimacy. Unless specific access is required, the blue zone must be bypassed.
- Movement remains free, without control and without proof, for pedestrians and cyclists (including electric bikes and scooters).
During the Olympic Games
- Avenue du Golf in Guyancourt will be completely closed to traffic from July 27 to August 12.
- The north lane of the RD36 will be reserved for the exclusive circulation of spectator shuttles.
Diversions are planned to avoid this axis.
