Motorized traffic will be prohibited on the race route 3 hours before and at least 15 minutes after the passage of the last runner. As a result, travel in areas affected by races will be strongly impacted.

Shear points are provided to allow motorized vehicles and pedestrians to cross the race route.

  • For motorized vehicles : crossings will be possible again shortly after the runners leave Paris and up to 1 hour before their return to the capital
  • For pedestrians : the shearing points will be open up to 15 minutes before the passage of the runners and will reopen 15 minutes after the passage of the last runner. For the safety of athletes, barriers will be installed throughout the race route.
Right Bank Loop

Athletes will make several passes and the shears will be closed 15 minutes before the runners enter the loop until 15 minutes after their last pass.

This perimeter will be activated 3 hours before the start of each event, i.e.:

  • 1er August: 13 p.m.
  • 2 August: 11 p.m.
  • August 3: 8 a.m.
  • August 4: 11 a.m.

Residents will be able to cross this perimeter at the identified shear points up to:

  • 1er August: 15 p.m.
  • 2 August: 13 p.m.
  • August 3: 10 a.m.
  • August 4: 13 a.m.

The perimeter will be deactivated 15 minutes after the last athlete has passed.
